Edgar Reilly is a corporate partner in L&G Law Group ’s Florida office representing clients on the full spectrum of financial and corporate matters. He brings a unique perspective for clients gained from his varied legal and business background spanning more than twenty-five years having worked as a commercial lender, large firm corporate attorney and lead in-house counsel.

Mr. Reilly is highly-regarded as a strong advocate and creative problem solver with extensive commercial transaction and corporate counseling background in international mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international compliance in regulated and non-regulated industries, employment law (including, Union shops), real estate acquisition/financing, corporate governance and federal government contracting, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation system. He has represented lenders and borrowers in a variety of secured/unsecured senior and subordinated credit facilities, including cross-border facilities across a wide range of industries, including food businesses, real estate development, insurance, manufacturing, retail, financial services, energy, and telecommunications. He has been involved in the structuring, restructuring, and unwinding of multi-tiered credit facilities ranging in size from a few million dollars to $6 billion.

Prior to joining L&G Law Group , Mr. Reilly was most recently Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of privately-held Quantum Foods, LLC, a further processor of food proteins with revenues in excess of half a billion dollars. His legal experience includes corporate in-house positions as General Counsel for real estate, hotel and energy development concerns, Operations Counsel for General Electric Capital Corporation and outside counsel roles at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago, Illinois. Earlier in his legal career, Mr. Reilly was Law Clerk to the Honorable Eugene R. Wedoff, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Reilly gained significant business experience as a commercial lender in the large corporate marketplace, both domestically and internationally. His business background includes various roles of increasing responsibility in commercial lending with The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, Illinois, where he completed the credit training program and became a Second Vice President. Mr. Reilly also gained international experience with The Northern Trust Company having worked in their Hong Kong office.

Mr. Reilly received his undergraduate business degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1987 and his Juris Doctorate from the The Law School at the University of Chicago in 1995. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois and Florida.
